  • Local Cycling Tour - Letham, Guthrie & Pitmuies

    Start 2.5 miles away

    This circuit starts at the town square in Letham, just down the road from us. The tour will take you about 2-3 hours, depending on what sort of a cyclist you are.   • Local Cycling Tour - Forfar, Aberlemno & Letham

    Start 1 mile away

    You can start this cycling circuit just down the road from our house in Mildens. It’s a circuit for the more experienced in the saddle taking about 4-5 hours to complete. Points of interest on this route include Forfar Loch Ranger Centre, Pictish Stones at Aberlemno, Nechtansmere Stone at Dunnichen and views of the Grampian Hills.   • Arboath Coastal Walk - Seaton Cliffs & Lunan Bay Beach

    This classic coastal walk explores the Seaton Cliffs which extend north from Arbroath and have a wealth of red sandstone formations. The walk continues as far as Auchmithie, you could shorten the walk by taking a bus back to Arbroath. Seaton Cliffs. Please be aware that there are unstable cliff edges on this reserve and for your own safety, it is important to stay on the designated footpaths.

  • Hill Walking - Mayar & Driesh Munroes (over 3,000 ft / 914.4 m)

    There are three Munros in the region of Angus. Munros are mountains over 3,000 feet (914 Metres), with miles of narrow twisting roads, great for cyclists, drivers, hill walkers and nature lovers alike. These are for the more experienced hill walkers and not beginners. Arguably the most beautiful of the Angus Glens is Glen Clova (north of Kirriemuir). The Monros to be bagged on route are Mayar and Driesh.
